Have you ever thought about why people are so different?
Despite the fact that our world-view depends on the place where we were raised, our traditions and moral norms, we all have one thing in common - our love and respect for each other.

I am a student at University for the Creative Arts, currently finished Access to Higher Education Diploma in Art & Design. My next step is Fashion Atelier course at the same university and hopefully a work experience with my favorite designers in the future. I wanted to challenge myself for my Final Major Project and decide to make a bespoke tailored jacket with zero skills of tailoring. Actually, I never did a garment from scratch before, except the leather skirt which was pretty easy.  I still have a long way to go, but for now, let me tell you a short love story through my garments.

She was just a girl traveling in time, trying to discover a world where her heart would sing again. A baroque-inspired faux leather maxi skirt embroidered with The Bee of Napoleon adorned her waist.

She met him in the gardens, singing a song about how beautiful the world would be if he could, but find the person whose eyes he would fall for. He was wearing a bespoke tailored jacket; the sunlight highlighted the incredible pattern on his back continuing up to his shoulders.

All she wanted was to know this stranger. And all he said as he gazed at her: "Keep shining my dear; don't ever lose that light in your eyes".

The techniques I used:
Faux leather maxi skirt - screen print, embroidery.
Sherwani - Heat foil print.
